The Zemánks won first place in the competition with their design for the district committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia Brno-venkov. Their study was further developed into a project form by Stavoprojekt. The foundation stone of the building was laid in 1977. The spatial layout of the office building follows the sloping terrain. The monoliths of the individual floors create the impression of massive terraces and blend naturally into the surrounding environment. The building has been renovated, which has changed its original character. Today it houses the Office of the Ombudsman.
