The historic building, built at the end of the 19th century as the Municipal Savings Bank of Prague, was adapted for the needs of the current owner by the ASGK studio between 2005 and 2008. In the first phase, the façade and its new lighting were the subject of modifications. Subsequently, however, the studio was entrusted with the complete reconstruction, which led to the modernisation of the technical equipment of the building, the reorganisation of the operation, the implementation of extensive restoration works of the artistic decoration and arts and crafts elements of the building and the redesign of the interiors, which, with new admittedly modern entrances that do not draw too much attention to themselves formally, made the original qualities of the listed building stand out. The project was awarded the Architects' Grand Prix in the renovation category.
