Architects Daniela Fenclová and Petr Kovář devoted themselves to the project of a permanent exhibition of the development of furniture at Duchcov Castle shortly after their graduation from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. Here the architects put their experience from their studies with the legend of the Czech exhibition school, František Cubr, to the test. The exhibition, created from the valuable historical collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts (until then deposited at the Lemberk Castle), was based on playful furniture compositions, not on staged interiors.
