The architects Eva and Bohumil Fant brought a contemporary intervention to the interior of an extraordinary historical monument, the Church of St. Wenceslas in Stará Boleslav, in the form of two subtle circular chandeliers with a diameter of 4 m, placed in the main nave, and two six-armed pendant lamps in the Vrábská Chapel. In terms of form, they have created an object that responds to the current interior of the church, which mixes furnishings from different time periods, with a contemporary shape, because, in the authors' own words, "there is no reason for reminiscing a certain period". The simplicity, sophistication and precise geometry of the lighting fixtures was awarded the Grand Prix in 1995 in the category of architectural design and small architecture.
