The theme of Marie Davidová's diploma project at the Academy of Fine Arts was the design of a leisure time centre on Střížkov Hill. The complex consisted of a social centre with a ballroom, relaxation pools and saunas, surrounded by residential buildings that were to serve as accommodation. The composition was complemented by the mass of the lookout tower, to which Davidová explains, "Because it is a project on a hill, I thought it could include a lookout tower and it wouldn't have to be very high, because I am convinced that when there is a completely open hill, like in Vítkov in Prague, you just need a small cross and the result looks very impressive." (Interview of K. Brůhová with M. Davidová, 12 May 2022) The architecture was complemented by original designs of ceramic objects. The architect submitted these fountains with motifs of stylised snails and shells not only on paper, but also in the form of functional models and prototypes. Marie Davidová realized these works in collaboration with the ceramist (and her husband's uncle) František David.
